In this case, our apprentice Devon Builder, Joseph Vittles, completed his NOCN skills Level 2 NVA Diploma in Trowel Occupations (Construction), and everyone at the Cowley’s team would like to offer him a huge congratulations on his achievement!
The National Open College Network (NOCN) is a charity that aims to assist learners with reaching their potential in building and construction roles. Offering both regulated UK and international qualifications, assessments, access to higher education, and much more, they allow young workers like Joe who are new to the trade a great way to develop themselves and their skills through education.
With a passionate belief in the importance of education and the desire to see more people participating in apprenticeships, NOCN are an ideal company for Cowley’s to work with in providing qualifications. We too understand deeply the need to ensure that the next generation of Devon builders have all the skills and knowhow they need for the future. Both for themselves and to serve the Exeter and surrounding community as we have.
When one of our hard-working apprentices such as Joe manages to achieve a qualification they have been working towards, we can’t help but be proud to the point of shouting about it.
